My strong writing and communication skills have flurished throughout my studies as a journalism and mass communication minor.  I have taken several advertising, public relations, communications and writing courses as a student at Iowa State University.  In a fashion and beauty writing course I learned the in-and-outs of short and long form journalism, product reviews, as well as runway coverage.  My development as a writer is mirrored in the various stories I have written as a fashion and beauty journalist.
